In the wake of the pandemic calling for wide-scale corporate digitalisation, the startup scene boomed: 2021 was Europe’s first year exceeding the $100Bn mark for total startup investments and Europe’s best year for unicorns. 2022, however, is a completely different story. High inflation, geopolitical crises and a reverse of globalisation trends are all leading to an economic slowdown. It is a time to pause and reassess.

This panel will discuss the changes that the early stage tech scene has witnessed over the span of a few years and will discuss how investors and startup founders are responding to the current market uncertainties.
