Wouter Alink has almost 20 years of hands-on experience in information retrieval, data-modelling, and software creation. He prefers to stay close to the technical challenges, where the core of his work has always been centered on databases and information retrieval and the integration of these two fields. Wouter Alink co-founded Spinque in 2010 as a spin-off of the Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Spinque is the proud creator of the world's first scalable probabilistic graph engine, with clients that use its flagship product Spinque Desk to solve their information access problems in areas varying from cultural heritage to enterprise search and e-commerce.
